Col. Casey Haskins

Casey retired from the Army after almost 30 years as an innovator and problem-solver. A graduate of West Point, commissioned as an Infantry officer, his assignments took him all over the United States, and Europe, Canada, and the Middle East. They included service in two embassies and command of everything from platoon to brigade. In the latter part of his career, he began thinking of the Army as his own giant social-sciences laboratory—a situation he happily took advantage of, becoming known in the Army as the inventor of “Outcomes-Based Training and Education.”
